LIST OF APPROVED PERSONS AS AT 31 JULY 2025
The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a statutory body established under the Capital Markets Authority Act, Cap 64 of the Laws of Uganda. Its primary mandate is to promote, regulate, and facilitate the development of a fair, efficient, and orderly capital markets industry in Uganda.
In accordance with Section 50(1) of the Act, no person is permitted to engage in activities regulated under the Act unless they are duly licensed or approved by the Authority. To safeguard investors and maintain the integrity of the capital markets, the CMA strongly advises the public to deal only with individuals and firms that are licensed or approved by the Authority.
In fulfilment of its regulatory mandate, the Authority hereby publishes a list of persons authorised to conduct securities business in Uganda.
