The Certification Program
CMA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), the professional body offering internationally recognized qualifications for practitioners within the financial services industry. The MoU provides a framework for collaboration between CMA and CISI in the development of a formal certification program for financial services sector practitioners in Uganda’s capital markets.
When operationalized, the certification program is expected to meet the skill needs of Uganda’s capital markets by developing skilled professionals who are familiar with international best practices, sensitized about the need for ethical behaviour, and capable of dealing and advising on instruments currently traded and new products.
